Quick Response Grants
Sometimes an unexpected cost or opportunity comes along that simply cannot wait. Our Quick Response Grants help local organisations, groups and individuals respond to smaller, unplanned or time-sensitive funding needs throughout the year.
BEFORE YOU SUBMIT
Is Quick Response Right for You?
Quick Response Grants may be suitable for:
- Unexpected repairs or replacement of essential equipment.
- An unplanned opportunity for a local group or individual.
- Additional costs associated with a community event or activity.
- A smaller project requiring timely financial support.
BRCT has an annual Quick Response funding pool of $40,000, allocated across 11 monthly meetings. This means approximately $3,500 is available each month, shared between successful applications.
Grant Application Checklist
Applications are due on the 1st of the month in which the grant meeting is held. For example, applications for the August meeting must be submitted by 1 August.
Please ensure you include the following supporting information:
- Two Quotes
Quotes must be addressed to your organisation, show GST details and include the supplier's contact information. For operating expenses, provide three consecutive months of bills. - Affiliation or Governance Verification
Evidence of affiliation or governance with a regional or national body, where applicable. Sporting groups are required to be affiliated. - Board Resolution or Meeting Minutes
A copy of the board resolution or full meeting minutes supporting your funding application.
